By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoI married a Buddhist couple at the 21C Museum in Downtown Oklahoma City. On the day of their anniversary, the couple requested a small intimate wedding ceremony that was based on Buddhism. The wedding was held on top of the penthouse suite at the 21C Museum on midnight. The last-minute planning of their wedding ceremony created an experience of breathtaking skyscraper views of Oklahoma City. It was a perfect setting by a garden that was bursting with plants & flowers just as the couple wanted. Afterwards, the couple gave me a tour of the 2200 sq ft luxury penthouse that was decorated with contemporary furniture, art work from various local artists, cool colors, fresh flowers, and sweet invigorating aromatics that penetrated the room. I joined the couple for a toast with champagne and hors d'oeuvres to celebrate their nuptials. It was a one of a kind experience and my first time marrying a Buddhist couple. Congratulations to the newlyweds! *Couple would like to remain anonymous for privacy concerns. Review from the bride: "It was absolutely perfect! I would definitely recommend Rev. Yareni Alvarado for wedding officiant services. It was very memorable. We were very pleased. Thank you very much for everything!"
