By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoRandy and Jim married at Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City, OK. The couple traveled from Ft. Smith, Arkansas to elope at Lake Hefner. Jim is originally from the Philippines and the couple met online. They have been together for 3 years and as soon as the law passed for same-sex marriages in Oklahoma they began looking for a wedding officiant in Oklahoma City, OK. At first they had trouble finding a wedding officiant to perform their same-sex ceremony until they found me.
Same-sex couples deserve the right to happily marry the one they love. The newlywed couple are excited to begin their new lives together. Best wishes to Randy and Jim! Review from Randy: "Rev. Alvarado thank you so much for marrying us. You have been a breath of fresh air throughout the whole process. We can't thank you enough!"
