By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoIsrael and Maria married at Kite Park in Nichols Hills, OK. The lovely couple were surrounded by family & friends that traveled from El Paso, Texas and Mexico to be part of their special day. Two large families became one as the newlyweds exchanged loving vows to one another.
For the most part of the day it rained in Oklahoma City! Even major highways were shut down due to high waters rising throughout the metro. The couple and I were debating if we should try for another day since the metro was soaked in rain. However, later that afternoon the skies cleared up and I was able to get them married. It is always a joy performing ceremonies for our country's active men and women serving in the military. Best wishes to Israel and Maria! By Rev.
