By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoI had the honor of performing Mr. and Mrs. Guerrero's wedding at Gaillardia Country Club with 200+ guests in attendance. Two cultures became one on the evening of Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, Andres of Colombian decent and Cynthia of Mexican decent; professed their love to one another by joining in marriage. Family members from Colombia and Mexico traveled to Oklahoma City to be part of their special day. A large gathering of family and friends witnessed Andres and Cynthia say their "I dos" at the majestic Gaillardia Country Club Gazebo. The wedding ceremony was a religious one that also accommodated non-English speakers by performing a bilingual wedding script. The highlight of the wedding ceremony was including the traditional lazo & arras (lasso & coins) ceremony. It was one of the most elegant weddings that I've been a part of. Best wishes to Andres and Cynthia!
