By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoRey and Diane of Moore, Oklahoma exchanged wedding vows at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City, OK. The couple are originally from New York and chose a beautiful venue in Oklahoma City for their wedding day. The newlywed couple had family and friends that traveled from New York City, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia to be part of their special day!
Rey and Diane had an unplugged wedding ceremony. No cameras or cellphones were used during their ceremony. That made for an extra special ceremony for guests to be present and enjoy their wedding without distractions. Their personalized, religious wedding script, included a cultural tradition of using the lasso ceremony along with the unity candle ceremony. The wedding ceremony was in English and Spanish to accommodate both spoken languages. It was a sight to see many people from different cultural backgrounds full of love and support for Rey and Diane as they professed their love to one another. Best wishes to Rey and Diane! Review from bride's Step-father: "It was a beautiful wedding ceremony. I was an emotional wreck the whole entire time. Thank you for everything!"

By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoI had the honor of performing Mr. and Mrs. Guerrero's wedding at Gaillardia Country Club with 200+ guests in attendance. Two cultures became one on the evening of Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, Andres of Colombian decent and Cynthia of Mexican decent; professed their love to one another by joining in marriage. Family members from Colombia and Mexico traveled to Oklahoma City to be part of their special day. A large gathering of family and friends witnessed Andres and Cynthia say their "I dos" at the majestic Gaillardia Country Club Gazebo. The wedding ceremony was a religious one that also accommodated non-English speakers by performing a bilingual wedding script. The highlight of the wedding ceremony was including the traditional lazo & arras (lasso & coins) ceremony. It was one of the most elegant weddings that I've been a part of. Best wishes to Andres and Cynthia! |
