I am impressed with your services! Thank you so much!" By Rev. Yareni AlvaradoAs I reflect on what it has been like to be a wedding officiant for the last 12 years, I am reminded that it all started with an idea that turned into a vision. A vision on how I saw myself in the future, of being a professional wedding officiant performing wedding ceremonies throughout the Oklahoma City metro. Looking back, I was in my early 20s when I first decided that I wanted to be a wedding officiant and that I was going to take the career path serious. That meant, that I was going to have to make some serious sacrifices and make major life changes for it to happen. I can tell you firsthand that any business venture is not an easy journey. Life will throw you some crazy curveballs and it will feel like you cannot get a break, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am a walking testimony that you can lose it all, get back up, and become a success again, and again, and again. Perseverance, discipline, and dedication are the main ingredients for success. So please, do not give up on your journey! You got this! If I am being honest, I did not think that I would last this long. Nonetheless, I stayed focused, and I kept working on my craft. 12 years later, I am now in my late 30s and I am at the top of my game performing wedding ceremonies at the top event centers and venues in Oklahoma City, OK. I always wanted to be around love and surrounded by love. I know it sounds cheesy, but that is the truth of how I feel. Love is my religion and I practice daily habits to keep connected to the frequency of love and the Universe. Being in the frequency of love has catapulted me into being the best that I can be personally and as a professional wedding officiant. As a result, I am empathetic and understanding of what couples are looking for in a wedding officiant which enables me to create one of a kind wedding ceremonies. Throughout my career as a professional wedding officiant, I have met all kinds of couples that have showed me what love is all about. It is part of human nature to love and be loved. The desire to be loved and nurtured is one of our most basic and fundamental needs as humans. Fulfilling this desire enhances our happiness levels for expressing love and the nurturing of others benefits not only the recipient of affection, but also the person giving it. Therefore, being a wedding officiant has been one of the most rewarding paths that the Universe has bestowed upon me. I cannot tell you how grateful and blessed I am to live this life that I live. Thank you to my family that continues to support me throughout my highs and lows of life. I am blessed that they love me not only when I am light but also in my darkness. To my friends, thank you for always mentioning my services to newly-engaged couples. Word of mouth is everything and I really appreciate those that recommend me for their special day. Thank you to all the vendors that continue to recommend me to brides to be. A special thank you to my mom. Thank you for always being my biggest supporter and loving every ounce of me. I am so lucky to be your daughter! Rev. Yareni Alvarado of Oklahoma City, OK creates and performs personalized wedding ceremonies for your special day!
